So second Illusionist is around - Ledbetter.
That means we know that both Wizards and Warlocks are able to become Illusionist. Hopefully all mage classes are able to.
Does anyone know what mob or area in shan starts the quest? Or even garden vs castle?

Try talking to the hermit in the garden. He's only in the garden sometimes (night maybe?) and moves around.

i didnt get a specific starting point given to me where would be the fun in just handing the quest to you, a little patience and exploring and youll realize its not hard

Get the rare silk robe from Myrg and give it to the hermit in the garden. Thats a good start. Also look for odd items that you get randomly from monsters in Shanadan and/or are just laying around.
Also before you decide to go Illusionist remember that it drops you from your current level to 11 or so. They also get crap magic defense. Lastly, they have no good spell until 25.

You just have to say "legend" to the hermit in the garden to get him to respond. Doesn't matter anyway cause the quest has been closed for a long time. Until Aedrin decides to come back/open it up, no one is doing the quest again. Typical lame crap the admins are always pulling.

he told me he wanted to open it up after every event or when something big happens, problem is nothing big happens, and jewel lied about the admins having to turn it, typical bs,

I have repeatedly had the mob tell me "I cannot complete the ritual right now." This is despite having collected the items the mob tells me it's looking for. Is this timed like wolf and merc?
