Does the horn of pain for this quest come from the demon in the imperial forest? I saw him once but could never find him again. Is he just one of those mobs that only pops up rarely?
Also, is there a better way to get the symbol of luck from the leprechaun than by killing him? It seems like he has a ridiculous amount of hp.

Yes, the demon in the forest has the horn, you just have to run round until you get him.
I don't know if there is another way of getting the lucky charm but I do know he can be beaten and he drops it when he runs off after been defeated.

Demon is very random. The Leprechaun is almost always there but he is hp inflated and hits very hard. You definitely have to kill both of them to get what you need.

I'm having problems with this quest. Can never seem to find he demon in in the imperial forest, also the gryphons dont seem to want to drop the eye of the beast. Is this a random drop or something?
