So Obsidian has added a quest for the Lich race. Anyone know where to start it? My guess would be somewhere in Aero 2. One of the more recent additions to Aero 2 is an Obelisk on the east side of the dead fields.

it responds to 'place'
you have to place something in the obelisk
something to do with the indentations
i dunno what though

To do the lich quest You simply need to be ressed into a frozen licH corpse from dead fields By a legend cleric or waTer dragon.
Anything you may have heard about the obelisk being involved is just guesswork. That is for something completely different.

I dont think rezzing has anything to do with it.
Velomuszt in wd crypts becomes a lich soul when you kill him and asks if you want to follow his fate, but I haven't been able to make him respond or do anything in the short time before he vanishes. Maybe the ornate bone staff and his robe have something to do with it...

Only mages and black clerics can currently become a Lich. Rumor has it that the quest was closed since so many people did it. I've got no idea how to do it or even where to start.

Anyone know where it started when it wasn't closed? Did it have something to do with Velomuzst's soul? He doesn't stay long enough to test many commands.
