I can not remeber what to do after you get the wax and rope for the life of me, the correct syntx to proceed

my problem was, i sailed to cyclops, killed the guy, got the blood, went to hades, did the blood deal, talked to the ghost, got the rope and wax, then when i went to sail to kalypso, it would tell me my crew would not out of fear of the sirens. I cant remember if i was spose to tie them with the rope some how before hand or what.

only need them in your inventory
am pretty sure they spawn on the ground
so you must remember to pick them up
the crew ties you up
and puts wax in their ears

This is what i thought as well, but killed the cyclops, poured the blood, had the rope and wax, and when i typed sail to kalypso, it informs the the crew wont sail there in fear of the sirens. perhapse a bug

I've had the same problem. You can "mold" the wax into just about anything but anything that makes sense doesn't work. I was thinking earplugs since that's what should be done with it, but that doesn't work either. Basically another dumb quest where you know what you want to do, but can't do it because of stupid syntax.

have never done anything with the wax and rope before
just had them in my inv
didn't even know wax could be manipulated
might have been updated?
